Day 1 | TBILISI - JVARI - SATAPLIA - CHAKVI

Pick up from indicated hotel in Tbilisi – Drive to Jvari monastery near Mtskheta(26 km from Tbilisi). The name of this monastery is translated as the “Monastery of the Cross”.

Its construction is dated back to the sixth century and stands on the rocky mountaintop at the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers overlooking the town of Mtskheta, which was formerly the capital of the Kingdom of Iberia.

Proceed to Sataplia Cave and Nature Reserve in Kutaisi (221 km from Jvari). Established in 1935 to protect the Sataplia Cave and dinosaur footprints found in the area, this visitor attraction recently benefited from a very attractive refurbishment of its Sataplia Cave visitor center. Sataplia Cave is named after Sataplia Mountain, which gained its name from the local tradition of collecting honey from the bees that inhabit the mountain’s southern slope. Sataplia means ‘place of honey’. A Conservation Center and Museum have been constructed, together with glass walkways, viewing points, a cafeteria and other visitor amenities. Sataplia Cave is 900 m long, 10 m high and 12 m wide and contains dramatically lit stalactites and stalagmites. Audio and colorful visual effects enhance the natural beauty of the stalactites and stalagmites. The visitor path through the cave is 314 meters long and is equipped with handrails.

After lunch (not included in package) in Georgian restaurant in Kutaisi, proceed to Chakvi Black Sea Resort, Adjara region (140 km from Kutaisi).

Day 2 | DREAMLAND OASIS CHAKVI

Breakfast at the hotel, free day for leisure.

The hotel is located on 42 000 sq m beautifully landscaped territory.

Day 3 | CHAKVI - MTSKHETA - TBILISI

Breakfast, some free time for pool and sea relaxing and checkout from the hotel (by 12 PM). Drive to to Mtskheta (345 km from Chakvi). Recommended: lunch in a Georgian restaurant (not included in package);

Visit to Svetitskhoveli cathedral(4th century) located in the historic town of Mtskheta. A masterpiece of the Early Middle Ages, Svetitskhoveli is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

Proceed to Tbilisi (26 km from Mtskheta); Drop off at indicated hotel.
